Abstract
The winner of the Teesside Instrument Engineers’ Best HNC Student Award 2016 is Mr Daniel Tate.
Daniel has achieved eight Distinctions for the eight modules he has studied over the last 2 years – a considerable achievement. Daniel works for Amec Foster Wheeler as an Instrument Technician, and the company has been very supportive of him during his studies. As a student member of the InstMC, Daniel says, ‘I am really enjoying my career as an instrument technician and want to go as far as I can in this field; in the longer term, I am considering going on to university undertake a degree in engineering”.
