Abstract

The Harry Orr Award for the best part-time student graduating from the BEng course in Instrumentation and Control was presented to Mr Adrian Taylor. Adrian is pictured following his graduation with Teesside Section Chairman John Noon. The citation, prepared by his Tutors, stated that he is an outstanding student having excelled in his studies throughout his period at Teesside, with 9 out of a total of 14 modules, including his final year project, graded in excess of 90%. More importantly, he has demonstrated excellence across all of his modules and as such has shown to be a well-rounded, hard-working and a dedicated scholar. To have achieved this as a part-time student while working is truly exceptional. As a result of his degree studies at Teesside, he has been accepted for postgraduate study in Process Automation, Instrumentation and Control at Imperial College, London.
