Abstract

The Institute of Measurement and Control and the Society of Operations Engineers invite your company to be involved in an event to promote the future of engineering and science in West Cumbria. We are approaching selected companies, who we feel will be interested in promoting, exhibiting and/or displaying new technologies and engineering capabilities as well as organisations who are seeking new personnel or promoting potential future recruitment opportunities. The event will include a key note lecture by Steve Mould.
Steve is not only an engineer and scientist, but also a science and engineering TV presenter as well as a comedian who is well known for providing entertaining demonstrations of the application of science, engineering and maths.
During the day, there will be a full lecture program by technology and recruitment companies for which we would welcome your input, plus an exhibition. The days’ events will be followed by the two institutes’ combined annual dinner at the same venue with Steve as the guest speaker.
The date for the event is 5 May 2016 at the Energus Facility, Lillyhall, Workington.
