Abstract
The 14th Anniversary of this very popular local sections event was held this year at Stocks Golf Club Tring, Hertfordshire on the 18 September and proved to be another very enjoyable day. A total of 16 teams and 64 players participated in a shotgun start occupying the entire golf course.
Overall individual winner with 40 stableford points and the winner of a handsome trophy and a top of the range electric golf trolley was Adam Reeve playing on the Kin-Tec team. Second was Richard Verey from P&F with 39 stableford points beating Brett Robinson from the OGSL team into third place on countback.
The winning team was Kin-Tec with 96 points. Second was OGSL with 94 points. The organisers would like to thank all of this year’s companies and team participants with special thanks to all the sponsors, Alderley for the bar and wine at table; OGSL for the individual first prize electric golf trolley; Kin-Tec Recruitment and Valve Solutions for the individual second and third prizes; ABB for the winning team prizes; Able Instruments for the second team prizes, the best par 3 prize and a nearest the pin prize; Eaton valves for the remaining four nearest the pin prizes; Koso Kent Introl & P&F for sponsoring the two longest drive prizes; Yokogawa Marex for the best front nine and back nine prizes; and also to Imtex Controls who helped with the organisation on the day and provided on course refreshments.

Next year’s event will be the 15th Anniversary to be held on Friday, 9 September 2016. We are returning to Redbourn Golf Club, the venue for many previous events. Bookings are already being taken.
