Abstract
Manchester & Chester Local Section were pleased to accept an invitation from Magnetrol (Companion Company), Protex and Flexim (Companion Company) to attend one of their Tech-Talk Exhibitions on 17 June at The Heath Conference Centre at Runcorn.
It was a great opportunity for the local section to advertise the benefits of membership to the attendees.
Tom Nobes (Programme Secretary) said, Thanks to Flexim, Magnetrol and Protex for their kind invitation to allow our local section to set-up a stand and advertise the benefits of membership to everyone who attended. It’s great when several blue-chip instrument manufacturers assist the InstMC and I feel it results in a win-win for all concerned. We signed-up two new members on the day and we have about four more looking seriously at membership. Thanks also to Tony Whitlow of Whitlow Engineering Ltd for his assistance with the logistics of the day.
Magnetrol (Companion Company) specialise in level and flow measurement, Protex specialise in fire and gas detection and Flexim (Companion Company) specialise in ultra-sonic flowmeters and analysis.
