Abstract
The Annual Dinner of the West Cumbria Local Section, hosted by Chairman Steve Kitchen of Sellafield Ltd, was held recently at the Central Hotel, Workington. The night was used to raise the profile of the institute and bring together suppliers and local engineers from across Cumbria. Over 100 people attended the successful event and the guest of honour was the Institute’s President Professor Sarah Spurgeon, OBE.
Awards were presented to Lynsay Kelly who was the Industrial Exhibitions Foundation Degree Student of the Year and Jack Denwood who received the Yokogawa Honours Degree Student of the Year.
