Abstract
The inaugural meeting of the Institute’s Qatar Local Section was held recently in Doha. Michael Scott, Stuart Christie and Peter Robertson were elected as Chairman, Secretary/Treasurer and Programme/Events Secretary respectively. Michael Scott stated that “some good ideas were generated and there is certainly sufficient energy to drive the local section forward. Through our networking we anticipate greater attendance at future meetings from members resident in Qatar”.
