Abstract
The Wessex Section Dinner Dance was held at the Wessex Hotel in Bournemouth. The Dinner and Dancing were much enjoyed by all. Music was provided by ‘The Unusual Suspects’ and encouraged people on to the dance floor.
Thanks are due to Dawn Bushrod for arranging this very popular social occasion. The event’s reputation ensured a good attendance, and the room was full. There was a superb selection of raffle prizes kindly donated by
Adsyst, Emerson, Haden Freeman, Hima-Sella, Induchem, KentIntrol Krohne, Metso, Pheonix, Samson, SSE, Transmark, Trant, Vega. The generous support of these companies allowed the event to raise £1065 for the Red Nose appeal. Money was raised for a good cause, and a fine evening had by all at this marvellous event. It provided a relaxed way to get the Institute members and acquaintances together and strengthen that community.
