Metron
Metron is an independent Engineering Service Company dedicated to improving platform reliability and hence overall production efficiency in the Oil and Gas industry. We achieve this through identifying and fixing business critical issues to improve the availability of topsides processing equipment, including rotating machinery, utilities and ancillary systems.
Metron provides a delivery-focussed engineering service to transform how assets are operated and maintained to improve reliability and reduce operating costs. Our work improves asset net cash flow and extends economic field life to maximise economic recovery. We do this by focussing on the acquisition of robust data, critical plant equipment health care, operating envelopes, procedures and people.
We provide a one stop shop in support of ageing and obsolete control systems, particularly when there is no longer any original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or vendor support. This is accomplished through proper identification of root causes of failures, use of our local repair and support services, and our experienced broad engineering discipline team. Where a business case exists, we provide fully supported selected engineered upgrades, designed to minimise downtime and operational risk.
