Abstract

On Wednesday 25th February, Brainboxes Ltd of Liverpool presented three lectures for the Manchester & Chester Local Section. The lectures on the subjects of ‘RS-485’ and ‘The Internet of Things’ were presented at Manchester University in the morning, at Liverpool John Moores University in the afternoon and at Yokogawa’s offices in the evening. The lectures were well received and well presented. Tom S Nobes (Manchester & Chester Programme Secretary) said, Thanks to Brainboxes for their tremendous efforts on this. These lectures (the fourth in a series delivered to local universities) represent a great outreach by the local section and local industry into academia. Thanks to Eamonn Walsh and Luke Walsh who presented and Stephen Greer who did most of the logistics of the day.
