Abstract
Manchester & Chester Local Section sponsored a lecture to Manchester University students on 26 November 2014. The lecture, ‘Bite-sized safety systems’, was given by Rob Stockham of Moore Industries. About 63 students attended. The lecture is part of a series of lectures by the Local Section, this being the third. Programme Secretary Tom Nobes said, This is an excellent way to reach-out to future C&I engineers, from both the UK and abroad. It’s also an excellent way to build bridges to academia and to promote new membership. Thanks to Rob for his excellent lecture, which he repeated in the evening for local members.
