Another successful Annual Dinner was held at the Lancaster London last month; attendance was up significantly this year compared with previous years. The event was well supported via sponsoring companies, individual members and Universities. Our Guest David Gunson provided a humorous and informative incite to life as an air traffic controller.
Awards sponsored by Hima-Sella, Honeywell, Imtex Controls and Pepperl + Fuchs were presented to students who attained outstanding academic achievement from Reading, City and Greenwich Universities.
Uniquely, The London Section wishes to recognise an individual’s or companies’ outstanding contribution to instrumentation in engineering, and this year’s recipient was Owlstone Ltd for their innovation in the use of nanotechnology in the design of their instrumentation.
