Abstract

The Teesside Section’s award for the best final year student studying for an Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Instrumentation and Control was presented to Michael Hartland. Michael achieved 8 distinctions and 2 merits in the 10 units covered. Currently, working as a Junior Instrument Designer for K Home International, Michael started his career as a computer-aided design (CAD) operator, and his aspirations are to continue progression by gaining as degree and achieving Chartered Engineer status.
