Institute Prizes and Awards 2013

The Institute’s Prizes and Awards Committee will be meeting in June to consider recommendations for this year’s awards for excellence and achievements in measurement and control. Nominations are therefore being invited for the following awards in particular and suggestions from all members will be welcomed.

Nominees for the Medals and for the Hough-Grassby Award need not necessarily be Institute members but, given the prestigious nature of the awards, they and their work should have public distinction.

Sir Harold Hartley Medal - for outstanding contribution to the technology of measurement and control

The Callendar Medal - for outstanding contribution to the art of instruments or measurement

Honeywell International Medal - for distinguished work in control by Chartered Measurement and Control Technologists

Alec Hough - Grassby Memorial Award - for significant contribution in process analysis or environmental monitoring

Fellowship (FInstMC) – for public eminence and/or demonstrable significant professional expertise in measurement and control.
