If a refreshed light emitting diode (LED) display is moved relative to the observer with such severity that the display cannot be fixated, multiple images of the display may appear. To determine the threshold refresh rate of this perceptual phenomenon, subjects evaluated the relative multiple imaging of nine LED refresh rates while under whole body vibration.
