Abstract
The subject of engineering psychology is defined as “the optimization of the interchange of information within the man-machine system.” From this brief definition developed ten years ago, a review of past and current work is examined. An examination is also made of the various universities which have courses in engineering psychology; several prominent publications are listed. Various figures and tables are presented to show the overall relationship of engineering psychology to associated areas.
