Abstract
Most of us are satisfied when we obtain between 10% to 20% of the functional capacity of any given technology. When we adopt technology into our personal and professional lives, we often make a minimal investment and therefore gain a minimal return. We are usually trying to solve a specific problem, and we attempt to intuitively operate technology (such as a personal computer or personal digital assistant) without reading instructions until we reach a level whereby we get our primary job assignments accomplished. Getting more out of the technology in our lives is the subject of this article.
