A CANCER education pack, used successfully in South Wales, was evaluated in 10 schools in the south of England. Results suggested that the pack had little effect on pupils' attitudes and knowledge, the most positive changes being recorded in schools where teachers had been trained to use the material. It is felt however, that such exercises have a contri bution to make to the continuing process of health education.
