MANY Asian and Afro-Caribbean immigrants are thought to present special problems in medi cine. The medical world frequent ly defines these as being different from the indigenous population. It was in an attempt to evaluate the perceived health education needs of London's Asian and Afro-Caribbean communities, and to assess if local radio could be instrumental in that role, that the project reported here was devel oped and undertaken. It produced some useful lessons.
