Abstract
• THIS paper seeks to demonstrate the need for Environmental Health Officers to become more involved in health education and suggests some of the things to be done. It deals with some of the reasons that health education is as it is, the task that requires attention, some of the considerations involved in planning for action and chances of success. Finally it draws conclusion and makes recommendations.
