Abstract
THE SURVEY was designed to assess the extent to which health education is practised in junior schools in North Yorkshire, and to enquire into ways in which the North Yorkshire Area Health Authority may best help teachers in their health education activities. Question naires were therefore sent to a 50 per cent randomized sample of all junior schools in the new county of North Yorkshire.
