Abstract
There is no one Anglican Political Theology but perhaps different styles might be identified. I suggest one centred on order, whose classic representative is Hooker, and contemporary is Oliver O’Donovan; one centred on individual freedom, whose representatives are Locke and Andrew Shanks; and one centred on justice, whose representatives are Stewart Headlam and Ken Leech. A tradition which is a debate is arguably a tradition in continuity with Scripture.
