Abstract
The factor structure of the Charles F. Kettering Climate Scale (CFK) was investigated with data from 351 junior high adolescents, Grades 7 through 9, in two school campuses in the southwestern United States. Students completed Part A, the General Climate Factors section of the CFK, in their classrooms. The primary and secondary factor structures are reported as are the Cronbach alpha reliability measures for scores on the second-order structures. The higher order solutions suggest generalizations across the primary structures.
