Covariance modeling techniques were used to test the assumption of group invariance of the Brown Locus of Control Scale (BLOCS) by comparing results from two different populations; American and Kuwaiti adult women. Results provide support for the hypothesis that the validity of the locus of control construct could be generalized to different cultural groups with some caveats.
