Factor-analyzed data for three race/ethnic groups on the Kaufman Adolescent and Adult Intelligence Test (KAIT) for people ages 11 to 93 are reported. Factor structures for Whites (N= 1,535), African Americans (N = 226), and Hispanics (N = 140) yielded Fluid and Crystallized dimensions that were congruent across race/ethnic groups and provided construct validity evidence for each subsample. The "g" factors for the three samples yielded congruence coefficients above .99. The KAIT results were interpreted in the context of previous investigations, especially with the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised.
