Abstract
The computation and determination of the statistical significance of three coefficients of interpersonal attractiveness or cohesiveness in task-oriented or social groups are described. The approach is based on ratings made by each member of a group by all other members of the group. Tests of the significance of the difference between coefficients computed on the same group over time or in different groups, and experience in using this approach in various types of academic and therapy groups, are also considered.
