Abstract
The present study investigated the measurement integrity of Roussel's Managerial Frames of Mind Survey. Subjects were 369 managers from three types of organizations: (a) higher education, (b) not-for-profit public sector organizations, and (c) a for-profit corporation. Confirmatory factor analysis was employed, as well as exploratory bootstrap factor analysis and a second-order factor analysis. The results offer insight regarding the psychometric properties of the measure, but also suggest some conclusions regarding Bolman and Deal's theoretical constructs.
