This study investigated the relationship between scores on the Pennsylvania Teacher Certification Testing Program (PTCTP) Core Battery and SAT scores, high school percentiles, college grade point averages, college credits and age for a sample of female college students. Results revealed many significant (p < .001) correlations. PTCTP Basic Skills and General Knowledge scores correlated highest with SAT scores. PTCTP Professional Knowledge scores correlated highest with college grade point averages.
