Abstract
This paper reports on the development and content validation of a set of seven assessment instruments designed to be used to estimate a student's current level of functioning in seven independent living skills areas. These assessments, which are related to six levels of supervision, provide for training objectives. Units of instruction are furnished for the seven independent living skills areas and the six levels of supervision. The instruments have been field-tested with a sample of 278 handicapped persons.
