Abstract
For the case of several independent groups of subjects, illustrative analyses are given for each of Shine's group actualized, group pure, and generalized pure multi-subject behavior functions. The three analyses are done on the same set of data, and the basic results are cast into an analysis of variance framework to facilitate their interpretation. Experimental control over sources of systematic variation is investigated. The general results of the three illustrative analyses are discussed.
