Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship of scores on the COPSystem Interest Inventory, Form P to scores on similar constructs of the Vocational Preference Inventory (VPI). The sample included 86 undergraduate university students. Scales on the two instruments were matched according to the name of the constructs and the theoretical assumptions of the constructs. The results indicated generally high correlations between scales of the two instruments measuring similar constructs. Thus the pattern of magnitude of correlations is interpreted as providing evidence for the construct validity of the two instruments.
