Abstract
Data from 287 subjects were used to provide reliability figures for Aiken's Enjoyment of Mathematics and Value of Mathematics Scales. Principal factoring with iterations followed by varimax rotation of the entire attitude scale supported its two-dimensional structure. The degree of correlation between scales was lower than that for Aiken's data. Also the correlation of the scales with other variables supported the view that the scales measure different aspects of attitude toward mathematics.
