A FORTRAN IV computer program which yields maximum likelihood estimates of the parameters in the White and Clark (1973) response model is described. The estimate of the proportion of the population possessing only the superordinate skill in a pair of hierarchical skills and its variance estimate are used to determine the validity of the hierarchical relationship.
