Abstract
Forty-four students enrolled in a personnel evaluation course were given three examinations on the content of Cronbach's textbook, Essentials of Psychological Testing. The sum of the three achievement test scores was correlated against the scores from the scales of the Guilford-Zimmerman Temperament Survey and from the Thurstone Interest Schedule. The total achievement test score was significantly correlated with the scores from the Emotional Stability (r = .33) and with those from the Personal Relations (r = .35) scales. The multiple correlation of these scales against the total achievement test score was R = .45.
