This study examined the relationship between the Personal Orientation Inventory (POI) and the Personal Orientation Dimensions (POD), a refinement and extension of the assessment of concepts of actualizing first measured by the POI. Correlations between conceptually similar scales ranged in magnitude from .50 to .70, coefficients which are held to give further support to the construct validity of scales in the two instruments.
