A microcomputer program is described for multiplying two matrices as large as 41 × 42 apiece. The major advantages of using a tape drive are single entry rather than multiple entry of data elements of matrices A and B and increase of memory capabilities. The major limitation is slowness of tape search. Verbal description of logic facilitates use of the program on different brands of computers.
