Abstract
The use of Multiple Regression Analysis to compute a wide variety of statistics (ANOVA, Covariance, X 2, etc.) is becoming increasingly popular. An MR procedure for computing conditional probabilities of the type, P(A/ B) = P(B/A)P(A)/P(B), is reviewed. While it has not received wide attention in the psychological and educational literature, it has seen considerable application in the economic literature. The present paper emphasizes its potential usefulness in other areas of the behavioral sciences.
