The Attitudes Toward Work and Money Questionnaire was administered to 10 vocationally successful and 10 unsuccessful mentally retarded clients. Only one of the 20 items which comprise the ATWMQ discriminated (p < .05) between the criterion groups. The results did not support the original study.
