Abstract
This paper presents a causal analysis of "white flight" from Pontiac, Michigan. The purpose of the research was to establish the relative importance of forced busing in relation to other variables, such as the perception of the quality of urban life. Discriminant analysis and path analysis were used in the treatment of data.
