A Comparison of the Management Systems of Traditional and Alternative Public High Schools

Abstract

This paper examines the managerial systems and organizational climate of alternative and traditional public high schools. Three of the four administrative variables used in this comparison show a distinct difference between the two types of schools and suggest that alternative schools possess the organizational ability to create a viable managerial model that deserves serious consideration and further research.
