Abstract
The study aimed at exploring the applicability of Management B y Objectives (MBO) within a university setting shows that positive changes in understanding organizational goals and expectations, performance, communication, inter personal relationships, and other benefits appear to be associated with the MBO program. In addition to being partially influenced by organizational variables, such as professional rank, tenure, and the length of service, MBO success seems to be an administrative phenomena strongly influenced by implementa tion processes.
