Abstract
An instructional module approach to the teaching of theory in educational administration is presented. It is suggested this ap proach has a potential to meet identified criteria of competency- based instruction. The approach is designed to incorporate both methodological procedures of theory construction as well as sub stantive content of administrative and organization theory. The author is Assistant Professor of Administration and Foundations of Education at Kansas State University, and KSU Coordinator of Project Kansas 76, a USOE/EPDA educational leadership develop ment pro ject.
