Abstract
The academic field of educational administration is assumed to have changed substantially in the last two decades. Yet until this study was completed, little was known about the professors who fill its ranks. The research, sponsored by the University Council for EducationalAdministration, was conducted by Roald F. Camp bell, Fawcett Professor of Educational Administration at The Ohio State University, and L. Jackson Newell, Associate Director of the University Council for Educational Administration.
