Abstract
In appraising Donald E. Tope et al., The Social Sciences View School Administration (Englewood Cliffs, N.J.: Prentice-Hall, Inc., 1965), Pro fessor Monahan finds that the authors have made a useful contribution to the field. In certain chapters, however, he feels that they write as though they had misplaced events of the last ten years that bear on the relationship between administration and the behavioral sciences. Mr. Monahan is associate professor in the College of Education at the State University of Iowa.
