Abstract
Following his analysis of key ideas in the four books, Professor Marden suggests that more scholarly attention be devoted to the total range of the politics of education, to non-local influences in the politics of local school districts, and to the political implications of educational policy formulation at the several governmental levels. Mr. Marden received his doctorate in political science from Harvard University where he has taught in the Graduate School of Education. He is presently on sabbatical leave pursuing his own researches in the politics of education and in mental health.
