Abstract
The total spectrum of educational technology offers a wide variety of communication media for students and teachers. Unfortunately, its full potential has not yet been realized because educators and technologists are generally concerned with the administrative aspects of media, rather than its dimensions of communication. Educational media should be an integral part of communication: teacher to students; students to teacher; and students to students. As long as educational technology is perceived as an administrative problem rather than a communication problem, it will always be an intruder in the learning process.
