Abstract
A series of community learning stations was set up whereby a high school class of educable mentally retarded youth received both orientation and practice in use of everyday community facilities as a concrete and practical means of developing the understandings, attitudes, and skills needed for community living. In this exploratory study, it was proved feasible to use public and private facilities in the community as learning stations for mentally retarded students.
