Abstract
Various definitions have been employed to describe or interpret the Catholic Imagination. The contributions of English Dominican Fathers Conrad Pepler (1908–1993) and Gerald Vann (1906–1963) may assist in furthering this discussion by using a Thomistic framework to define the imagination, identify threats to its formation and promote its restoration and the renewal of culture.
