Abstract
Illinois statutes grant the state's attorney discretionary author ity to decide whether a case should be removed from the juvenile court. In exercising his authority the state's attorney has estab lished evaluation standards based on the seriousness of the of fense, the youth's prior record, and the strength of the state's case.
