Abstract
The purpose of the proposed interstate compact is to allow the states, by means of bilateral and multilateral contracts, to share existing training and education programs and to develop new programs mutually for police, prosecutors, public defenders, judges, correctional administrators, probation and parole agents, and other personnel in relevant capacities. States adopting the compact would accept personnel from other party states, without prejudice and at a resident tuition charge, into criminal-justice training and degree programs offered by state-supported universi ties and colleges.
